[MOD] (no-name) beta v1

i appreciate it if somebody could come up with a name for me cuz i have no idea what to call it lol

well now, this is my first mod.. well my second actually i will release my first mod when this is finish. technically this is is the first time i have done mach conversion. so yah my "first" map. this is only about 25% or so through, i am planning to add more stuff to the map and totally skinning it with photoshop, as soon as my computer stop having bugs about it.... but i would appreciate any constructive critism or any suggestion to add to the map to improve it (ex: add boxes so u can jump onto the headlong platform)

also plz rating my mod (be gentle since this is just a beginning and my "first" :p) thanks

-There is a headlong platform, covenant sniper towers, and a green walkway (i'm not gonna tell u what it is lol, u figure it out urself)
-The two grenades are the only weapon modded and they are a special surprises
-The warthog skin is changed to have my signitured "skin" :p
-Most weapons are "skinned"
-The map is significantly darker
-The warthog has no tires, hence the floating car
-Two warthogs and two ghosts spawn on top of the map

read the tutorials on how to make it system link. I kinda like the way you spawned the gate. Most of it looks pretty random though.

That's going a bit too far... I don't think people will rip of this map, mostly because most people here don't want to start a flame war...

Ok Its nice that you got the basics of how to do things. But give your mod a THEME. Random stuff doesnt get popular.

This isn't even close to a mach conversion dude.

This is alright for a first mod. Try not to do to much on the shader swaps. Try working on a mod longer and it should turn out fine.

... Are you implying that this mod is going to miraculously spark an idea in someone's head, someone who hasn't already been trying forever to get AI in MP, and they will just as miraculously do it, without any problems at all?

ooh, tough critique.. lol
sorry if it's a bit "cruddy", this simple mod. i mostly just posted cuz i wanted some suggestion to add on the map, cuz like i said, i'm only like 1/4 of the way so there's still lots to put in, but if u have anything that i should add or take out, just let me know :wink:

yah i was actually thinking about that, but last time i try to spawn with a scarab in it. it was coagulation... yah, and it froze, so i asked the "New Users Click Here!" section and so far nobody answer my question on why it freezes... :?

i c, yah, i've only seen the scarab on turf and beaver creek. :p so yah that might be a good idea, u wanna help me on inject the scarab and have it not freeze somehow? or anybody? lol

that you need insolence and H2x i use to swap things now oh and an sp map

edit: duh who wouldnt know that i think you had something on your mod that made it freeze usually its the weapons
