Known bugs
--------------
Bridges have a whole. At least twelve total.....
You cant turn off weapons or vehicles.(not really a bug just mentioning it)
overshield and camo fall off the middle platform.
Turrets floating a bit higher than usual.
static sound when you die or shield gets taken down sometimes.
and a few more if you guys find any tell me.
-------------
Updates
-----------
I will make a v2 of this mod taking place in foundation since it can hold more collection chunks than the other maps.
Will have a theme to it.....this version had one but this one is an unfinished version since I could not find the cords for this map anymore or add stuff to it. BTW did I tell you guys its slc? hehe
I will fix all the bugs above and add more features to the map making it badass.
---------------
expect v2 sooner when I get the time for a full fledge day...
Woops forgot to add Ill remove the bsp for the map next version I was just testing with this map...

looks good, now to make it reeeeeeeeeal badass, add a mac gun to both sides of it and have active scenery with pelicans flying just overhead as if they are coming in to land but they cant cause theres a bunch 0 spartans woopin' ass. and fix those holes!

looks good so far, i cant wait to see a finished product.

seems like it should have like 12 banshees on it.

Progress is coming good, I can't wait to see the final result.

*Suggestion* You should make lower levels as well. Maybe give the map some sort of shape rather than just two elongated platforms.

Oh, and if you null out the death sound for the characters, that should fix some of your static problem.

I "was" going to put 4 platforms instead of just two but the problem was the chunks >_<

Well you can always just copy ascension then rename it.

Anyways, nice mod dude, I love maps with new objects in them.

It's good and all but why is everyone releasing things that are unfinished? Why not test with friends till you all agree its right and then release?

I've also noticed that when people release their unfinished mods they just ride on the "it's beta!" excuse and then sometimes even retaliate when its not a good comment...

Ugh...Sorry. I'm finished with my little complaint and I do like the whole runway concept.
The only thing is though, why Ascension? It has the banshee restrictions! They could easily ruin the whole runway idea because you cant fly out far enough. Why not use something like Lockout? Its big and has no banshee restrictions. Unless of course, I've missed something as all mach transfers seem to be on Ascension.

I'll be sure to try this in splitscreen rather than just myself for my little test :P

Indeed. I made the same arguement on another topic just a few hours ago. Very very true. It's a "buffer" for them: a way to feel good even if the mod isn't well recieved. I've concluded that the meaner people at halomods get, the more self concious people here get. The more self-concious, the more people using betas as an excuse to rationalize any flaming they recieve. I mean, when is the last time you've seen one of these so-called "betas" finished?

Halomod people, Here's a suggestion: Do ALL that you can on a map, and THEN release. This way you can use peoples' input (and sometimes flaming) to your advantage and try to apply it to your mod. Insteas of having betas, have new versions (v2.0, 2.1, 3.0) etc. Again, just a thought.

This mod looks sweet, but it's nothing to be throwing out before you've done all you can do with it. It has some serious potential (judging by the pics) and it has my download (in the morning). I trust it'll play how it feels. But at the same time, I'm downloading something I know is incomplete, and that kinda spoils it for me.

I look forward to the final!

i give 100 points for both of you.
i agree,
since released one after another version of my sentinel base i wont do it in future.
work as much as u can and then release.
releasing a few versions is confusing for the ppl.
not everyone is checking everyday the download section for a newer version of a mod.
its like programming a app and release every new thing in it,but it shouldnt.
