HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Hey this was a pack created a while ago by cragsterboy of snowmakers but it was never released outside of the snowmakers site. Ive decided to release them for you guys to have fun with and enjoy!

Snowmaker tripple pack has in it:

Frozen waste land! (burial mounds): This has been re-skinned competely to give it a cool frozen and snow efect and it has a new sky!














SnowWash (backwash): this has got no fog, its snowing, snow on the ground, its had some hexin done to it and some of the gameplay weapons (skull, flag etc.) have been re-skinned!














Snow Paradise (zanzibar): The map has been competely re-skinned to snow and masterchiefs are marines, they change apperance everytime u die (dont they squirrel) and there is elites as hunters (to enable their weapon run over were a plasma rifle should be and when you have charge it up till it fires!) Sorry i didn't put a pelican on cause the maps too small and there too many glitches with it!

Wow you turned backwash into a somewhat bearable map to play in, great job

9.5/10 overall (just because no one is perfect )

i LOVE what you did to backwash, it's worth playing now...maybe you can get bungie to replace backwash with yours so i wont hate playing it on XBL, lol.

nice job giving those levels a totally new look, too bad you couldn't freeze over the water on zanzibar so we could go ice skating

Thx for all the comments and yes we wish we could of frozen over the water but that would have to be part of the bsp. Unless we make a big flat model lol

Pretty good, I am downloading now so i haven't tried it yet, but judging from the pics you might want to lightmap them to get rid of the color tints, just turn down saturation a lot. But the skins themselves look good. I'm not a big fan of the burial mounds, but the backwash is really good, and zanzibar looks good too, but i have already seen many snow zanzi's.

so, if i would happen to use this map (backwash) online, is it still cheating. idunno, maybe no fog is cheap.

These are just reskinned right?

I was just kidding, hence the " " but seriously if we had oceans here they probably would freeze, its been like the coldest winter ever.
