Exactly, he has said he's not a pro so you might expect some basic mods from someone who's not a pro. I think you are confused. He has said, "blow out the lamp, day is here," and you keep saying, "give me a lamp so I can find the day." This would be a very small forum if only the 'pros' posted their mods. I doubt your work is very spectacular either. He's obviously new to the modding scene so cut him some slack. He's not flaming, bitching, complaining, or otherwise being negative, only trying to be constructive and contribute to this growing community. So why don't you get down from your high throne and go away.

Ok, given all that, he still posts a mod that will take about 3 minutes to make...
Do you think that we have just been sitting here waiting for simple dependancy swaps for 10 months? We've done it. We moved on. So please, join the bandwagon and follow in foot.
And before you say that he's new so give him a break, just remember this. You don't have to post everything you make. If you know it's a simple mod, then don't post it. It will only go downhill from there..

But on a positive note, I have to say that the sound swapping for different languages is pretty funny. Overused, but funny.

He does have a point, even if you can do the most basic stuff, try to personalise your mods some more, skin some stuff, swap hlmts and edit vehicles. These are the kind of things that should impress non modders, not us.

scottlowery13 next time write "basic mods" before you put a video like that...plus if you really wanted to put work on your maps make sure its something that take AT LEAST a FEW hours on your mod...beacuase if you wanted it to be better, for me, i would spend alot more time on it to at my least a few days... srry for flaming on you...

Mabey someone should sticky a thread concerning NOT TO MOD WHEN NEW. Every since the xbl uprising and mod awareness happened I have been seeing alot of these. People need to understand that this is not fun to the more expeirenced modders and that people need to actually make content and stratagy rather than making things that seem fun to themselfs and releasing it. I don't mean to put this mod down but jeeze guys look around the forums and notice that people actually put effort into there own mods. before releasing anything make it worth a download and actually have atleast 3-6 months experience.

He bumped that on purpose. Obviously. And he's a new member who as far as I know has not contributed anything to this site.
