[Mod] Hell Skirmish Grounds. ***Updated*** 10\14\05

Hey guys this is what ive been working on lately.

Ok a little story This takes place on a lost colony of the UNSC.A reaserch planet that made many weapons that never reached actual battle testing.
Now used as a skirmish arena you will see that each base has its own weapons/vehicles aside from a few basic weapons that are at both.

I will definatly change the story or name at anytime.

Ok rundown of my mod so far...

BR-Full Auto, No Scope

PP1 @ red base-BR/No Scope Model w/shader swaps, Single Shot
Carbine,Charge Shot Frag Grenades

PP2 @ blue base-BR Model w/shader swaps,3 Shot Burst Beam Rifle,Charge Shot Sweet Plasma Grenade (must see w/friend playing)

Sword1 @ red-Shader Swaps

Sword2 @ blue-Pike Model(looks like u really hit them with the blade of the pike)

RL2 @ needler spawns-BS Model w/Shader swaps, Brute Grende that Homes, Lock on Shot is Homing Banshee Bomb

Banshee1 @ red-Seraph

Banshee2 @ blue-LongSword

Ghost1 @ red-Shader Swaps

Ghost2 @ blue- Uberchasis

Shotty- Shader Swaps

Jackal Shield 1 & 2 Shader Swaps

BS- Shader swaps

Now heres what ive added/fixed so far

I fixed the extra weapon Problem

I added a Setinal Beam that shoots Phantom Rounds

The Brute PR and Covy PR shoot MCs and Elites (only selectable as starting weapon one and 2 in the quick options menu)

Added a new sky And soon will remove the ring and huge planet and attempt to reskin the whole level.

Changed the run speed and jump hieght to 4 i noticed that my plasma grenade launching br was pretty cheap so i figured this may balance it out

Misc name changes to the weapons

Ok thats the rundown of my mod im just lookng for some beta testing here and feedback so plz your opinions matter.

Also sinces its a Wip it may not look like this at all when im done.

:Edit: Ok guys i figured pics didnt do my mod justice also i updated alot of things in it and add some new weaponry.

Hey good job this is quite fun , i dont like the shaders on the banshees be more experimental, try something original . look forward to more maps from you. resize your pics aswell if u can. gj

yea, all you have to do is check " hold extra weapon"

yeh u can hold six if u pick up the weapons in the right order some how i forgot to put that on all the weapons b4 i made the .serenity ill be updating it again at like 1:00 am thats when ill have more time to work on it.

Also i cant make skins for the level somehow all my skins show up as black from far away and i cant stand that so if anyone thats really good at using photoshop maybe u can put me in the right direction for a good skinning tut Thanx guys

alrite them im fine, Kik ass job on br's,

I had an idea of doin sumthin like that with the mag, but br is much better,
Grenade 2nd trigger makes it more like a real rifle

the xtra gun thing u might want to take out, unless u can make it so that we can drop the guns.

Btw could u tone down the smg


Overall best beta i have ever seen and a great mod so far

you need to use lod remover, "machinima companion" it ups the level of detail and ur skins will not be black from far away

Thanx alot im glad to hear that u think that and yeh ill prolly remove the enable extra weapon on all the weapons xept for the flag and skull o wait

You serious i know i got that but i didnt know its better for skins, What do i do just apply the patch to coag after i make my skins and put them in or before i put he skins in.

its best not to have "enable extra weapon" on many weapons at all as it creates confusion especially when you try to change the thrid weapon and it dont allow you to...
but i really like the 2 versions of weapons\vehicles...

Yeh im working on taking the enable extra weapon

Yeah i was thinking the same thing but its going to be even sweeter when i make my skins for them.

when you copy a vehicle in insolence, can you rename it or do oyu have ot keep it at like vehicles\warthog2\warthog2, cause i have copied vehicles and it dont show up ingame, i renamed it tho to jsut 'car', also nice mod, try making more versions of vehicls, maybe make it so oyu can spawn them outta certain guns, like certain plasma pistol will spawn this version of hte hog, etc

i cant get my duplicated hog ot work ingame, someone help me plz

You need to add a [itmc] for the duplicated hog tag or in your ccase the "car" tag
