this looks great! one questions, do the weapons make those paint splatter on the walls, or are they just part of the skin?

when the paintball projectilews hit the wall, they have a paint splatter effect. and there are different colors for different guns.

That made no sense, cause mimesis just downloads it for you, so obviously you do have enough space

Just remove the SP maps and the bink form the halo 2 folder and delete your music....

actually, it does make sense. I have a softmod, and my harddrive is filled up. Im not just going to put a mainmenu and one map on my harddrive. I burned 40 maps to a disc, so I'll wait for mimesis.

as for the mod itself it looks nice...and people please must we compare this to p8ntballer24's? its not out...its not a copy... u dont need to put this mod down because p8ntballer has one...just judge it for the mod itself

I think this does a really good job of the paintball type feel i love the barriacdes i love the trees its really kool. I'm nearly 18 so i can go paintballing soon WOO! (australia is 18 and over for paintballing...don know what its like where u guys are)

Wow, that bites! I went paintballing for my first time when I was 13 at a friend's Birthday Party, and my friend's little brother was there! They have no restrictions like that here. 'Course, I also got my driver's permit when I was 14, and my lisence on my 15th birthday. Idaho's crazy like that.

Sorry 'bout the off topic-ness of this... nice mod again. P8ntballer, don't panic about your mod. The only thing to wory about is if he did a better job than you, and if that's the case, you don't really have an arguement to begin with. In order for it to be better than yours, he would have to have implimented his own ideas. Besides, Paintball mods have been around for a while, just not many with halo 2. I'm sure your mod will be great. Don't stress about it, as it'll do just fine here.

Howdy again. Yeah, I understand what you're saying (but I'm not going to make the judgement that he indeed just wanted to try to pre-release before you), and if that's the case, you should be more happy than anything. (I'm just trying to be optomistic). I mean, if he rushed it to release it first, then it can't be as good as if he spent months on it like you have. (nothing against the paintball mod at hand, mind you). You should be glad he rushed it and released it first, rather than spending forever on it, releasing it after you, and ending up overshadowing your mod. It reminds me of the cable room insident: TD planned on releasing it, but someone got wind of the idea and released it first. TD was all upset, but when they released their version, everybody dropped the old version and went to the TD version, as they took more time taking care of all the little details. In either case, you have to admit that this is a good mod, and I'm excited to see yours here shortly.

There have been paintball mods before this one...There will be paintball mods after yours...It's not some super great idea that only you could possibly concieve...Just because you don't like the mod or don't believe enough time was put into it, doesn't mean it was his intention to rush it just to spite you...

Actually, im in team rev, and we have been working on this for about a month, but at first it was on containment, then we needed a smaller map, he did not "rush" it, except for maybe the lightmap , so if your just gonna sit here and say OMG he stole my idea, Im gonna say you stole my idea, i ahd this idea 78 months back, prove that you didnt steal my idea from me, or maybe just prove that he stole your idea, sound good? And, i think if you dont want your idea stolen, dont post it in your sig, and in the pictures section, and complain when someone puts a mod together that you are gonna complain about.
