#1. I wasn't bragging
#2. Someone asked how much RAM was needed a few pages back and I was just giving them an example on what would work. :?

I have followed that tutorial about 13 times already with different variables. (ie: maps, bsps, etc...) And still no luck

Wow, now I have to actually play all the way through SP and explore what i think might make a fun map to play/mod. I never beat halo2 because i discovered xlink kai first. Lol.

EDIT: I'm so happy my family just got a new computer that is pwn sauce. Lol

E6300 with an 8800 GTS 640 mb vid card and 2GB ram should handle this quite nicely. :) Can't wait til i get mine with the e6600 processor this week.

OK, I now have reached the point where I want to smash my computer to pieces.
The only thing stopping me is that it can't find my sledgehammer. Image Its ready for the junkyard anyway.
*Yes, I have anger issues, I can spend hours fixing things, when they still don't function like want, I smash them!*

*The following occurs regardless of the MP map or sbsp/lightmap that I use*
I've been tinkering with the programs since their release yesterday and have managed to get them working up until I start the re-builder.
I have followed both Anthony's tutorial and the mini tut that poke posted on the Vicis site with much success till its time for the re-builder.
The re-builder works pretty fast till it get to: Processing: C:\Tags\H2\sound\dsp_effects\sound_effect_templates
Image
It will stay at that point for about 30 minutes, give or take 5, Image
then gives the following error.\/
Image
Here the details within that error...

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Any ideas of what hardware/software that is causing such a problem.
*I hope someone finds a solution before I find my hammer*

well its nto really "struck" on that tag, it just dosent update its prgress until it starts actualy writing the raws. it is probably a sound error.

do this it worked for me on a earlier build

Go into C:\Tags\H2\ and delete everything in there
Get fresh maps for everything all the shared and mainmenu and your mp and sp make (MAKE SURE ITS ALL PERFECT AND FRESH because I had a messed up map once and I didn't know it until I re downloaded from my xbox)
Decompile the Whole MP map
then decompile the sp maps bsp and lightmap
then relink
then rebuild

so pretty much everything in the tut but to clean your folders out
also make sure its just in the default directory I think changing the path messed it up somehow

I don't beleave any sounds are missing and I do have all the checkboxes in the re-builder checked.
NOTE: I was using colossus for the MP map and [sbsp] - scenarios\solo\04a_gasgiant\alphagasgiant(outside section of "The Arbitor") from 04a_gasgiant. during the above error.

I hope some people learn to use invisible walls because some bsps are just too big for multiplayer.

Now let's see an upgraded Sidewinder eh? :P
