I am having trouble with Insolence. Can someone please post a patch for a map with the Bulldog already rigged so I can at least play with it? I don't care if it sacrifices the Warthog.
Retired. Thank you neodos, DemonicSandwich, DarkShallFall, Dragonfire, foxfanatic2317, GOWO and everyone in the hall of fame.
If you want to know how I did something, take apart my mods.

Man there is just no end to the amazing stuff comming out these days i cannot believe how amazing this looks, Fantastic job DS do you have any other vehicle ideas in the pipeline i sincerly hope so.
I was kinda holding back for halo 3 but it seems the whole mod scene for that is lacking so i may well have to dust off my old faithful and start another project (or finish some of the ones ive already started)
Hopefully i will get more time 2 be more active again so keep up the good work guys im looking forward to see whats next.

I do have one other vehicle I setup I call the Wasp but it's a flying vehicle and not done.
Other than that, I don't have any other vehicle models that are decent enough for rigging to a Warthog at the moment.

There was another vehicle called the Wasp?
EDIT: Never mind. I found the Wasp. I may have to think of a different name for my vehicle then...

It's good to see people still making some noise in the Halo 2 modding community. It's rare to see mods of this quality since everybody's so interested in modding halo 3 now (which sucks because Halo 2 is way better than Halo 3 in almost every single aspect).
Anyways good job man!

I tried it on Coagulation, Backwash, and Burial Mounds. It worked fine for me.
Care to explain what kind of odd physics take place?

I talked to DemonicSandwich about it over AIM. It's not meant for deltacontrolroom's dirt terrain. I have to modify the friction markers to make the front tire level with the ground.NotZachary82 wrote:I tried it on Coagulation, Backwash, and Burial Mounds. It's because I moved the friction point markers closer to together to help prevent the wheels from falling through the map and make the suspension move with the ground more realistically.Eaton wrote:I talked to DemonicSandwich about it over AIM. Since the rear friction points have a less chance of falling through the map, I made them farther apart than the front points to help maintain stability and keep the damn thing upright.
You're basically driving a tricycle.
However its not very stable over rough terrain like coags hills and such but better on more level ground ground.
It can still be used on rough terrain...with some practice in driving it of course.
