Xbox NTSC - The two betrayals
Frag grenades fling plasma grenades around, but thats not the real surprise. I'm not going to ruin it, but if you use the rocket launcher, you better not use it in in small rooms...

... if your not supposed to use them in a small room, then why use the rocket at all?
This is pretty nice! it's fun when i throw a nade and the plasmas stick to the grunts and they scream and run

.. ahhh, it's fun.
Anyways, good job. Nice mod.

Thanks, its my first public mod. You can use it in small rooms, its just if you do, get ready to run like hell...

this sounds alot of fun any chance of a tutorial so we can have a go on some of the multiplayer levels.

Well, really all I did was use HXE to change the garb dependencies to proj, and replace with the projectile of your choice

Not sure how this will benifit MP though...

Wonderfully done mod. Nothing all too useful, but innovative and incredibly entertaining.
Any future plans for getting chain spawning grenades working on any MP maps? It would definitely add a fun kick to compacted levels, I.E. Wizard and Rat Race.
Anyways, keep up the good work. Hope to see more of your mods posted soon, because this apparently isn't your first time making one.

Frag grenades explode, flinging plasma grenades around. Rocketlauncher explodes big, flings around 10 frags and explode and fling 3 plasmas around each

Well, than you're in luck, seeing as to how there's a link to download the file at the top of the page.
Anyways, you could probably improve the mod a bit by swapping the explosion for a plasma with that of a mortar round from the Wraith. As we all know, the more massive the explosion, the better.
Could also change the velocity of a rocket projectile to a negative number. Would make for a nice kamikaze device, and will give the player
some chance against the Flood armed with rockets.

Too bad you cant have negative speed. Also, why not just have plasmagrenades spawn mortars?

Or just have zero acceleration for the rocket, whatever causes it to explode on the user. And chain spawning grenades wouldn't be as entertaining in an armageddon type setting, which would probably be the result of having each plasma grenade produce Wraith rounds.

I'm planning a second release, here are some of the features.

Chain swapning rockets, that spawn frags, that spawn plasmas, that spawn wraith mortars.
Make the elite laugh whenever they melee you.
Add REAL energy sword.
More elite with swords.
New weapons.
New sounds.
Changed dialog.
New models.

Sort of impressive for a second release of the "Chain Spawning Grenade" mod, especially with the energy swords being included.
Any ideas for the new weapons yet? Could always bring some of the weapons from Halo PC/Halo 2 into the mod. Couple other suggestions could be weapons from UT 2004, and animations similar to that - like the Redeemer and Link Gun and the likes.
And yeah, new models would be a good idea. A SMG that looks like a pistol would be sub-par. Also, good luck getting the model for an energy sword down.

sword is 90% done, all I have to do is figure out how to keep it from exploding when dropped or switched... If anyone could help I'd really like it.
