OK, so i'm sure many people have been working on this and have done what i and poke have done. Both pokecancer and i have transfered the bsps from the single player level aotrc to the multiplayer levels blood gulch and sidewinder. Pokecancer i guess accidentely overwrote some data, so i won't post his ppf of aotcr over BG. I however have done it over SW and overwrote no more than the bsp of SW. The shaders were not linked but so what. You can't even go on the bsp cause if you move spawn points it will freeze. This is just to notify everyone that progress is being made. Pokecancer is (obviously) creating a program to do this much. If anyone can figure out how to fix this, i salute you

. This ppf goes over sidewinder.
NOTE: if you didn't understand above, this will not let you physically play on the bsp, it will just transfer it and you can SEE it in SE and on your xbox.
Here are some pics, remember, the shaders are not linked but that shpuldn't make a difference.

Hey, maybe this has something to do with the collision or how special areas are mapped in SW, like the ice, that makes the hog slide, I don't really why...

Also, the only think you injected was the bsp, right? Other data from the bsp may be causing the problem.

we didn't ONLY inject the bsp. If that was the ONLY thing we changed, then you wouldn't be seeing this map right now. But i'm sure there is something else that needs to be changed to fix it, but we can't think of anything. We made it so the new bsp is in, and the map reads just that bsp and no more of the old bsp.

whoahahoo SP-MP i can not count how many times i heard people say this would never be done... nothin i can say, you already know how big this is.
im not to sure about how all this works but as you progress in your work would it be possable to make a system linked co-op? or somewhat like one?

I'm sure it could be somewhat possible, except until someone makes better ai, the ai would suck.

it will just transfer it and you can SEE it in SE and on your xbox.
I'm a bit confused by this. I did peek at it on SE and that worked great. I tried it on my xbox but just got a blank screen. It seemed as though I could move around but couldn't shoot. I wasn't expecting to actually move around in the level but was thinking that I could at least see some part of it on the xbox. Did I just read this wrong?

Definately a huge step in xbox modding...
Just out of curiousity, can a larger bsp be imported, like say the outdoor section at the end of aotcr?

This would be a perfect ctf level. You could have a flag down each short hallway. You could put powerups/rl down the long hallway to encourage people to go down that way.

you cannot inject a bsp that is larger in MB than the one you are injecting over.

Well if you turn far enough, you can see part of the bsp. I would've posted pokecancers ppf because you could REALLY see the bsp, but he accidentely overwrote more than just the bsp, so i decided to post mine just in case anyone could fix it. You might be able to move the spawn points a little bit closer to see the bsp better, but i'm not sure. If you look in SE, you will be able to see why you can't really see the bsp, because the spawns are so far away. I am not quite sure if moving the spawns/putting teleporters on the spawns will work though.

Actually, we have figured out ways. Injecting Eof might work, but i think pokecancer tried this and it didn't work out. You can also completely rebuild the map, or shift everything, but there are a lot more steps and you would have to move the meta down, which would also cause the index to have to be changed. If we can get rebuilding to work, we might be able to successfully do sp->mp, heck, even without rebuilding we might be able to do it. I/pokecancer believe that the reason why these conversions are not working is because of the scenario, if we can find a compatible scenario, this just might work.

Well, I was going to toy around with the spawns but I can't seem to find them.

I see them in your second pic but they are not showing up for me. I've tried SE 2.5 and 3.2. Is there something special I should be doing to get the spawns to show?
