Hmm...
Any way of tricking the xbe into loading more than two people?
You have to load it in split screen mode, like I did. You remove the gametype select screen by ui widget swapping, and then you hex-edit the xbe to load SP maps in MP map slots. Maybe I will release a tut?
That would work I suppose. I have some stuff in mind that may help with getting this to work a little better. But I have to test before.

I tried this out in split screen today.

It seems the difficulty level is set to easy. controller set up on POA & tutorial pop ups.

I've also had some random freezing from scripted events.

I'm pretty sure it's normal difficulty. I've also encountered some problems with random freezing.

If someone can get this to load the maw i would love to see several warthogs driving in line with 7 people in co-op.

Have there been any updates on this mod?

Hey, no worries. I just want to say how well this works so far. My friend and I played side by side with two TVs just to witness how awesome it is. Thanks for your hard work. Maybe Bungie might take a hint. :)

You were on 2 different xboxes via system link and it worked fine with syncing and loading points?

It doesn't, it will still desync even if the console are very close to each other. If you coordinate properly you can actually make it through an entire level without desyncing. Makes the game more challenging

That is true, we had our fair share of troubles. However, certain levels worked really really well! AotCR is one of those. We made it the entire way through with no desyncing. Another good level was the Silent Cartographer, which gave us some trouble, but not for quite a while.

This sounds great, got this on one of my boxes but aint tested it yet cause my main box with my extra controlers is in Edinburgh. I was wondering, would adding extra spawn points help with the desyncing issues?

adolif you should post a update on this every week or every other week, even if you were too busy to work on it. Just so we know you're alive

If Arsenic will be able to do what I think it can do in the future, there may be a solution to the desync problem.
I've worked with scripts in Halo Custom Edition before. If I had a way to get scripts from the campaign maps, I could easily fix any desync problems...

Looks awesome! I am much impressed. I too am curious about the addition of spawn points. You made me whip out my 3 xboxes just for this. I have halo modding experience but it has been a while. Can't wait to see this go places. Then we should show Bungie

Sure!
1- Extract all of the scripts from the campaign maps
2- Modify them to teleport players near each other BEFORE the next BSP loads, not after.
3- Recompile.
Piece of cake.

use Arsenic. It handles scripts now.

So is this now able to be done? I would love to see this done. I know I'd have at least 5 other kids who would system link with me to play the campaign. More than once.

I'm not sure how 100% it might be because I haven't followed modding lately but Arsenic now handles scripts so if in fact scripting helps ease the non-syncing pain, then yes it will be closer to being "more" playable.
