Music in MP - halo sound injector

well.... this is a ppf of some music from aotcr in bg. i am making a program to automate this which is almost done except for one thing that requires one of you to help out. i can't fix all the reflexives because vb6 overflows each time you use a hex number bigger than 7FFFFFFF. there is only 2 so i fixed them by hand here... so if anyone can help, PM me. i am just sorting out a few little things like that so expect this program soon. for now, have some music. model injection is next.

Wow! I'd help you pokecancer, but all I know is basic stuff. Maybe all you require is basic stuff for this...Thanks! I can't wait for the programs!

Wow thats just the type of program I've been looking for since current editing techniques are so time consuming and difficult. I'd love to help if I could, I hope someone here can help you soon enough.

Hey this program sounds great will it also adress the order in which sounds are played like sidewinders looping sound effects? it almost drove me to disspare trying to get a half decent soundin background sound workin as for some reason it clicks and pops between tracks. I have my best effort to date here the Nightwinder v4 map take a look if you got time see if you got any ideas on sorting the problem out be a big help if you can.

Does this ppf have crackly noise to it or is it just me? My power flickered in the middle of my d/l so I want to know if it either got corrupted or if it comes that way. Great idea though.

i didnt hear anything wrong with it. thats why i released it. no one else heard this, right?

Well, I redownloaded it and it still doesn't seem to work right. I've patched it to 5 differnet cache files for BG...the standard level and 4 modded levels. I get the same results with each...a crackling sound. It almost sounds like blown speakers.

I've been using ppf-o-matic to patch. Think a different app will yield better results? I'd really like to get this working correctly.

Allister, your BF mod sounds good. This one is a great concept but has more crackling sounds than MrMurder's. I do like your individual mods poke. Are you planning to make plain mods from your cold day mod like snowing, the objects in the sky, or the torches?

Yep bad crackles, and I tried to fix by overlaying them, NO GO. The sound must have been corrupted by something. Umm could it be the ppf patching?, if we had the 71 sound chunks, to inject would it work? Sound injecter sounds GREAT, I can think of a few I would like :wink:

woohoo i think i fixed the sound injector. i will release soon a beta version with some music soon. i need to figure out how to make it fix reflexives without overflowing. HELP!!!!!

Hey jkjk i already said the file download here at halomods was corrupt but its fine at haloscene so go grab it there ok its seriously nothing to do with my modd the sounds just messed up somewhere along the way as you can tell if you try the haloscene download.
besides v4 is out and sounds how it should i must admit a few pops but nothing bad.
If you still want the quieter zoom sounds let me know as have done them ok.
