Forerunner Island 3 (FI3)

Done! ^_^
I overhauled FI's gameplay and graphics, and fixed a few bugs...

From the readme:
-Imported Wraith, drivable and complete with projectile
-Added more shaders
-Zoned the BSP
-Imported Eerie Fog
-Activated Rain, Fog, and Bugs
-Made Banshee shoot Fuel Rods again (The P-Nuke took out balance.)
-New gun: SS-G, or Shockshot Gun
-New gun: Laser
-Fixed the U-Strings
-Small effects mods every here and there
-Created Gas Grenades
-More trees
-Upgraded Ghosts for Balance
-Fixed the Memory Problem! ^_^
-New gun: Mortar Launcher
-More Trees and Shaders
-A brand-new SWEET Nuke
-Swapped in Cloaks
-Created a Hand-Nuke
-Better Night Sky
-Better Pulse Rifle
-Better Railgun
-Fixed HUD Problem with the Energy Sword
-Created Darkness Fog
-Added Condensation
-Some more small stuff I forgot to log. :x
Some of you are probably wondering why Version 3's ppf is so much smaller than the rest...that's because I restarted, and now it's more organized. And as for FI2, just look at the readme.

awesome SF, i knew it was gonna turn out good from what you were telling me but i look at the pics and damn, better than i thought, that nuke looks awesome, good job on the perfect model importing, well, the wraith isn't perfect but at least its not attacthin to bullshit like in halo pc. you do the best xbox mods! keep it up man.

:D :D :D Great job Swamp Fox :D :D :D I've always loved your mods and this is shaping up to be one of my favorites! What I would really appriciate is you fix up the Wraith. You got the model, weapon, and physics all it needs is the sounds, skin(looks really screwy with the Ghost's skin :wink: ) and the collision. IMO the Wraith is all that needs work aside from that this mods perfect. Wraith is still fun to use but please fix it up I love that thing :)

Great job, swamp fox. Your Forerunner series is different than any other mod I have ever played. And I understood how you wanted me to be stealthy. I followed the cloak train across the top of the island and used the wierd trees to get down. I think I remember reading about a covie dropship though (correct me if I'm wrong) where is it?

i made it so u can drive the covie dropship, but if u want to use it, swap a piece of scenery or another vehicle for it...i thought putting that there would remove balance

If this is for Silent Cartographer, how do you play it in multiplayer. I didnt know u could do single player maps on multiplayer. Is there a tutorial on this?

That is an awesome mod and how did you get the senerys bitmap to move, like the trees and the fallen tree trunk. Can you tell me how?

I loaded up silent cartographer, downloaded the cache00 files and then applied this ppf. It made the 47mb map file into a 217mb file. I was unable to put the 217mb version back onto the xbox because the limited space on the x,y & z drives. How did you all work around this? Or do you replace the original silentcartographer map file? any help would be cool.

I don't really understand why you are having a problem...

Oh well if you have HCE I can post how to do it that way if you want. I always do it the HCE way because you can keep the .ppfs organized on your xbox.

thanks adam. i figured out my problem. i was applying the ppf to the wrong cache files. i read in post below, that you need to apply it to the cache000.map file not the cache003.map file used for MP maps.

is HCE available somewhere? or should i check xbins?

I really like this map. Good job on all the graphics. The maps moves kind of slow sometimes and there seem to be some problems with the player respawns/checkpoints but overall I think it is fun to play. Thanks for the great mod!
