New Map: Ganimede

it's my first new map, hope like

New Map on BG
All game type support (best CTF and vahicles combat, snipe)
4 warthods, scorpions and ghosts
2 snipe position (but thanx to more ramp and large space the snipe type is great in more position)

i like this map and the way you desinged it with all the routes and everything but i wish it there was more texutres and looked more like it could be an orginal halo level.

Also you should make more maps i like your ideas

like different texture of wall and ground? i try soon because new map is under costruction.

in the original map the bases have the roof, the great space in center of the map with more hill and more undulate but have insert in the map the max of object. over that limit when you play some/more wall/ground disappear :(

I also agree. I currently have this map in my favorites and think that textures would put this map up there with the better ones. The setup is great for ctf also since it is a long map

now try to explain the problem (im italian sorry for my bad english)

unfortunally different texture between ground and wall is impossible or im not know how do: infact i need to inject 2 type/different ultrapanel. 1 type of ultrapanel with "ground" texture and 1 more with "wall" texture. but another ultrapanel is impossible inject because the dimension of cache not permit that.

someone can suggest a solution?

The only way I could see to do this is to inject more panels and link them to different shaders, but you said you can't fit anything else into the level. I see two (possibly possible) solutions:

1. Remodel the whole map in 3DSMax as a CE level and set different surfaces to different materials/shaders. Then extract the whole thing and reinject into an Xbox map as scenery. I don't know if this even is or will ever be possible, seeing as iceworld2k was injected this way and has only one shader material.

2. Use the large cache file patch and make the map 278 MB or whatever the size is with blank space. Then you'd have tons of room for plenty more ultrapanels, all with different shaders.

This is all speculation, I don't have much experience doing this stuff. I don't think I can help any more though...
