hi everybody. I' ve a problem to export models with hmt3.5 : if I click on "export model" it save the .obj but if I try to open it with milkshape (for example) I can't see the model it show only 3 line. can someone say me the correct procedure? thank u so much.

maybe I need a plugin? someone answer me please

You would need a dds. plugin for Milkshape so that it can read the file and be able to open it. Try checking www.google.com. for something like that.

but the .dds plugin , isn't only for open textures? thx for your reply

I have never used Milkshape myself ,but I know there are other modeling programs that have a dds. plugin for it and it works fine or so I hear. Try testing different modeling programs and see which one works the best for that and is also easiest to use for you.

I've tried many programs like milkshape , accutrans3d & 3dmax , but the problem I think is in the exporting the models with HMT. anyway thx for your help

When exporting the model you get asked a question by HaloMapTools 3.5. Click no and then save your model to where you want it. Then try to open it with Milkshape (having the dds. plugin installed of course IF one even exists for Milkshape). If that doen't work than I have no freakin clue on what do to. mmmh nada... HMT doesn't export the model , what can be?

Try getting a new version of HaloMapTools. The newest version is 3.5 and also make sure that you have the FIX file for it too.
