How do i get console mode for an xp they says its not competable i think its bull crap i also heard something called rcon wat it does u can ban kick and type sv_kill the name of the dude on others ppl server is that true.

u mean xb(xbox) or Windows xp? no console 4 xbox, but it works on xp. just add the argument -console and when u play press the dilly key (~) that opens the console. im not sure u can

Yea i mean windows xp and each time i put -console on shortcut were you suopossed to put it and it says not valid.

omg no renaming shortcuts does nothing u have 2 rename the actual C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo\halo.exe to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo\halo-console.exe (i think that does it, i dunno i 4got how i did it its been a while). ya then u gotta change the target of your shortcut to the new extension.

Thank you and ill try that later now about rcon ever heard about well i head its for banning ppl on other ppl server.

You add -console to your Halo shortcut. THAT IS THE ONLY WAY TO ENABLE THE CONSOLE.
