HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

With Unreal, if I want to move my maps/sounds/textures/etc. to a different directory or drive, I just have to move it and change the .INI file within the system directory. Let me just say that moving Unreal maps to my virtual hard drive in my system RAM reduces map loading to split seconds. I'd like to do the same with Halo, but I can't find an editable file with which to change the directory that the game looks for maps... Does anyone here know where I can do this?

umm....I'd look in the halo.exe file in a hex editor. do a text search for somethin like "/maps" or somethin
