Im new at this and I need a little help

ok I got this server from the official halo site and i want to run it i have put the maps and all in there but i go to the muliplayer mode on the game and the server name isnt listed....can someone help? thanks

you cant join your own dedicated server from the same comp
it has to run off a different comp
i was messing around with the port options on my game and i got it to accept it and i successfuly joined it
look in the files section under tutorials for the tut that i will post when the files section comes back up
ill post the link here when its back
