No Force feedback when using xbox controller

When i play Halo pC or any other game on my computer and use the xbox controller i don't recieve any rumble. I have tested the rumble using the software that came with the pc adpater. Does anybody have a solution to this problem.

its not that big of a problem and it probably doesnt work if the controller isnt hooked up to an xbox.

Not true because other people have force feedback using the xbox controller. When i test it i can get vibration from the controller. maybe I'm using the wrong driver? Any help?

ha last time i checked pc games dont have the code to make a mouse and keyboard rumble, i dont see how it would for a xbox controller.....

Best advice I can give is search for other drivers for the controller. I don't know if you can or can't feel the rumble on pc.
