Ok, for some reason my halo game isnt working. I start it up, it starts perfetly with now errors, but when i get to the microsoft X games studio thing, it stops there and blinks from that to black. I can hear the main menu music and stuff But i can't actually PLAY halo... I think it might have sumtin to do with my graphics card. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, but it doesnt fix it, i have downloaded new drivers, and have tried a lot of other things but i cant get it to work.. I have a ATI radeon 9700 mobilty graphics card on my acer laptop... PLEASE HELP ME!!! AND RESPOND FAST IF YOU KNOW!! ( I have a clan match..)

That must suck ollie u post a long ass reply and it doesnt help him any. My fingers would hurt.

Replace your bitmaps.map file and see what happens. If you didn't have a backup of it, insert your CD and extract D:\filecab\cab4.cab to your halo maps directory. (I'm assuming that your CD drive is D). Bitmaps.map is stored in cab4.cab.
