LAN

I've got four comps hooked up but only one halo disk
. Is there a way that anyone knows that we could all play together. Ive got a no-cd crack but there is no way that I can see around the cd key. So if anyone has any ideas or has any problems like this tell me. Thanks

well there is a simple solution, one often suggested by mighty MS:
buy three more disc so that you get three more serials so that you can play a game you legally own already on more than one computer at the same time
thatll cost you 200$! for all 4 discs'
then you ask, why the F$$$ did they put lan in! no one wants to have 4 sets of the same thing(of course your friends could buy some copies)
i dont think there is a legal solution to your problem other than having 4 disks

cant we just go back to the days of starcraft and install spawns! its so easy!

you could get a site licens...
but they cost a lot of money
I dont think its worthwhile

Um, creating a LAN game sets sv_public to 0. It doesn't even validate the cdkey online for LAN games. I've played numerous times on my LAN using the same CD Key for all the computers.

thats weird, cuz it says "invalid serial key" when i try. Mayb i shud try again...
