Firefox won keep me logged in

Post by CptnNsan0 »

Firefox wont keep me logged in to certain websites after I close it down and reopen it later. Like halomods where i check "log me in automatically each visit" and it never does. Anyone have a solution to this? I'm pretty sure all my settings are right.

Im using firefox 3.0

All that comes to mind for me is to go into Tools -> Options -> Privacy and check that "Accept cookies from sites" is checked. If it is, click "Exceptions..." and see if any of the sites you're having problems with are in there for some reason.

I've seen firefox do this before. I'm not sure what setting it is but I'm guessing it also doesn't keep your history after you close the window? It's somewhere in your security settings. It clears cookies and history on close as a privacy feature or something.

Go to privacy amd in the cookies box, change whatever you have in the dropdown to "until they expire"
