xbox mod chip problem

ya i have a mod chip and its been working fine but a couple days ago i got this weird beep sound and i got the flashing red and green lights error. i checked the chip itself and i found out that the screw hole in the chip andthe motherboard are stripped al to hell. i tryed taking the washer out but that doesn't help.
any ideas?

lemme guess, u have an xbit chip.
go to xbox-scene.com to post this problem. They have the best xbox modchip forums out there.
I wud suggest, if u can, finding a new screw, and u need the washer in there(if its an xbit)
Also, the reason ur getting a frag(flashing red and green) is because the chip is not aligned properly. If u can, get it lined up perfecly, push down on it and then put something semi-heavy on it just to keep it in place.
