CD Key Problem

Ok, I am trying to install Halo CE, but I have lost my CD Key. LOL, yeah like woh, pretty stupid huh? Well is there any other way I can figure out my CD key? Would it be in a file or something? Well please help me out here. Thanks

u gotta buy halo another time, lol!!! well, it works with a false 1 but then u cant play online... but if u want i can prolly get 1

yeah I heard if someone has your CD key in a multiplayer server and you want to join you can't so your asking for trouble really

I'm probably wrong, though. Anyways, a friend and I traded CD key's so we could play with out brothers, and we haven't run into each other on servers yet. However, don't give it to
ANYONE YOU CAN'T TRUST!!! If they sell it to like, 50 different people, your chances to join a server decrease dramatically.
I don't recommend trading CD keys via a forum like this... just my opinion though...

here's what you do when you have a question like "I lost my CD key"
GO AND SEARCH FOR IT FIRST!!
I saw many forums that have answered this question
Anyway....
Put your HALO cd in your CD-ROM and wait for the autorun... Then you will see your Microsoft Product ID number in the top-right corner. call the technical support and they will give you further instructions.
They should give you a new CD Key.
Oh, and don't give away your CD key to no one!! I talk from experience...

Get a No CD Patch/No CD crack for HaloPC by searching
www.google.com. The only problem with it is you get a smaller list of games to join online than the real cd. A MUCH smaller list. I thinks it's worth it if you don't feel like putting in your cd or you lost your cd or keycode.

Ok, but he needed the CD KEY, to install HCE.
Plus you can just use Alcohol to do the job instead of a NoCD patch and It will work like normal. Like you will have the normal amount of online games.
And you can't use a NoCD Patch to fill in for your installation for HCE.

If you "lost it" contact M$ that's all you really can do. Proof of purchase should be good enough.
