HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

My friend just got halo and idk how to help him. He only has 9 pages of active servers and none work. It says Negotiating connection with the server. and right away it says unable to join. Every server said that. Ive tried them all. So i need help. How to i get the full list of servers with 48 pages that work.

maybe see if there's any patches or updates he needs, otherwise it may be some weird networking issue. we'd probably need a bit more info to fix the problem.

k. Well he just got his PC. he got it at staples for 800 and it has a really good graphics card, and vista i later thought maybe cause of vista. anyway when u start internet it says allow on administrative privileges
so we got past that. and than u run internet. and it says a new update has been found. the update finishes everythign si fin
you start the game and it says only 112 servers are opened and 9/9 pages are opened. None of the servers have ping and they dont work . and 1 will show up with like 148 ping or something and that one will work. but that is only 1 server. waht abotu the 0ther 111. and we're missing pages. usually when u run halo u get like 42 pages of servers and such. this one it looks like Custom Edition without any downloaded maps. Not many servers to choose from.

i suppose his internet works fine..... maybe the problem is with vista? is there anyone else here with vista and halo pc that could tell us anything?

Ya it is his vista. Ive heard many people say they had the same problems. But any way to fix it or like close vista when u wanna play and than open it up again??
