HMT problem PLEASE HELP PLEASE

ok so i have searched and i havent found a solution to my problem, my problem is really pathetic, i cant even get HMT 3.5 to open, i have download microsoft framework in the link provided in the read me and i still get the error the application has failed to initialize properly, i am trying to do the mod of changing halo music in main menu, the person that wrote the tutorial use HMT v2 but the link he provided doesnt work and I cant seem to find the file, so if anyone has this link please give it to me, any help is greatly apreciated.
also if anyone knows a dif program i can use lemme know

try re-dling hmt 3.5. If that doesnt work then, get hmt v3. For what u want to do, you can use hmt v3.
