HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

ok this my sond stupid but how do you get the mods once you down load them in to the game? i cant figer it out it sucks
plus can you use lightwave 3d to modle stuff for halo its the competider to 3ds max so its preaty dam simaler and if so do you no any good tutarles for beginer halo moders?
