iTunes not working.

Every time I try to run iTunes it gives me the "This program is not responding" window. It doesn't even start up at all, it takes me straight to that window.
I've un-installed and deleted all of the files and re installed countless times and it still won't work.

Anyone know what's going on?

Not necessarily. In iTunes you can purchase music, view album artwork/other songs in the album, keep track of play count and more.

I hate Apple products, but iTunes is the one thing I'm content to use for my media.

Maybe you could re-download the installer? I think a newer version was released a few days ago.

Wow, that was incredibly stupid.

I don't know what your problem could be...You sure you have the latest version of QuickTime as well?

Hmm, try this?

Right click My Computer ---> Advanced System Settings --->Advanced tab ---> Click on Settings in the Performance section, then finally the Data Execution Prevention (DEP) tab.

DEP is meant to block programs except for Microsoft certified ones from using 'sensitive memory' space and addresses. If you have a program that you cannot start, choose "Turn on DEP for all programs and services except for the ones I select" and add the program .exe that you're trying to start.

You can do all that from WMP too...

This isn't a thread about what's better. JK-47 just wants to get his iTunes working.

Yes, but can you put music onto your iPod from windows media player? No. I'm tired of all this Microsoft vs. Apple discussion. It's a fucking computer company, they both have their strengths and weaknesses. And you are either too blind to see that, or you just don't want to admit it because you think the company you buy your computers from is the all mighty god himself.

Thanks everyone who helped. Shadowkhas was right, I just needed the new version of Quicktime.
