HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Hopefully, this isn't posted in the wrong place. Feel free to move it if it is. Basically, my firewall (along with Spybot S&D) says I am infected with the "W32/Virtumonde-based!Maximus" virus. It's located in the following directory: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\SSQRO.DLL .

Basically, some google searches have gotten me ways to fix similar viruses, but not this one in particular. If anyone here is knowledgeble (sp?) on this Trojan/Virus, please let me know. My cooling system is running full steam right now and sounds like it's about to assplode. Basically, I just need to know if I can fix this myself, or if I just need to format and get a fresh install of Windoze.

Alright, my computer is going waay south now. My background image will load up, but my desktop refuses to load. I have to open the task manager and manually boot my firewall. At this point, I think that i'm beyond salvageable, unless I am able to install a few apps (Which I don't know if I can now), boot in safe mode, and use those apps to remove it. But honestly, I would rather not go that way, since I have abseolutely no experience with booting in safe mode. I'll just reformat and get it over with.
