HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

okay so its like this...i play halo on a 16 (yes 16) mb gfx card and of corse the GFX suk reely bad i play in PIXELS like it looks like SNES but sumthing strange happened...when i played one day, i tried to change settings, but it just flashed and went back to the main UI... when i played campaign my controls were changed to the default...but sumthing strange happened...
i actually saw decals i am not making this up...
i have like the worst GFX card that is able to run halo (and it runs at 15 FPS at fastest) but i saw decals! blood splats bullet holes, burns, ETC
can anyone explain this amazing miracle to me?

What kind of card do you have? A voodoo? You can get a mid to low end DX9 video card for less than $50.

i will take screens and i swear to god im not makin this up...and i mite get a new comp soon...but my parents r anti games and they dont kno i have halo on the comp...i copied and uninstalled it so it dont show up on add/remove programs

i swear this is how i play halo, but w/ these decals it ran at 2 FPS heh
and oh if ure wonderin y the grunts r yellow, its a bad gfx skin ask me 4 it if u want it the pistol is too, but it looks better in sparkedit heh...

yea i kno...but its the only way i can play halo but good news my dad said im gettin a new comp so no more eye burning screenshots

I don't think that a 16 MB card will limit your ability to enable/disable decals... :/
Nothing very OMGWTFREVOLUTIONARY to me. Also, new GPU = good.
