Halo 1 Modding Tutorial

can someone give me a tut to mod halo 1 the one for xbox not pc

Play a map you want to mod for a few seconds. Then go back to your dash and FTP and open the X drive, I think it's X. If not you will find it in either X, Y, or Z. When you find it get cache003.map and drag it onto your comp. I forgot if you have to decompress it or not but if you do open it in Dothalo and decompress it, then open it in a modding app, such as Sparkedit, HHT or HMT, then mod it how you want and save the changes then open it in Dothalo again and compress it, then FTP it back and play the game again and the map will be modded. Not sure if you need to decompress/compress or not, but if so just used Dothalo I suppose. I think there's an app that compress/decompresses the map but I'm not too sure what it is. Dothalo always worked for me. Good luck.
