HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

I'm modding my friend's Xbox but am having an issue with the maps. Specifically I am loading the good ol Killtrocity onto his HD, but the issue arises when I try to load any given modded map. The regular maps load fine, but when I load the others it doesn't even say the map failed to load, instead it makes a noice like it loaded the map for like half a second then it goes back to the lobby screen and the "Are you sure you want to play Killtrocity mappack? Get ready..." comes up on screen. I've never encountered this in my other boxes I've modded. I even reloaded the maps back and shared and mainmenu several times, along with the fonts media and default.xbe. I'm no modding genius so if you do have the answer you'll have to make it in slightly simple language. Thank you!

I had a similar problem, are you sure you've disabled the auto update? If not, then that's why, it did the same thing to me.
If your not sure how to do this, just open flashfxp (or whatever you use) and go to /E/TDATA/4d530064/$U and rename the "$U" folder to whatever you want.
