HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

I am going to a halo 2 party tomorrow, and they are going to mod my X-Box so we can mess around and such... After I get back I am going to host my own party with non modded xboxes.

They are going to put more maps on my xbox and modify the characters and weapons. My question is: Can I use system link with my modded xbox with other non-modded x-boxes and make it still work out? I know I cant use the new maps, but will it still work???

If they take out the mods for the weapons and the charactors but leave the maps will it work? A single "No" Offers little help...

No, you can't system link a modded xbox WITH new maps to a non-modded xbox and have it work.

Well that's a pretty wild accusation.

Some modifications work on system link, but most do not.

If you are refering to my name I use while playing Halo2, then yes I am Cheat... But on the subject... I know that I cant use the maps and mods while system linking, but if I dont use them while they are still active will system link work?

If your refering to using clean maps, or "unmodified maps", then yes, system link will work perfect.
Things that you can have that can be seen by non-modders-

Projectile swaps for the plasma pistol and rocket.
