I have been having problems with the halo 2 Killtrocity Mappack

Every once in a while none of the maps will work and all will say failed to load map.
This goes on until I pop in Halo 2 and play a multiplayer map off of the disk
Could this have something to do with the cache?
any solutions

Did you disable the automatic update?

yeah, I think, I changed the folder name $u to a different name.
Is there a better way

try fixing the encryption..

Use YELO to bypass the encryption and disable the autoupdate.

yeah, the problem is i cant get yelo to work, i will jeep trying.
so for now what i have to do is play a multiplayer map off of the halo 2 disk before i can play the killtrocity mappack

When i run the Auto-Patcher, it runs but the maps aren't sent to the Modified Maps folder.
