SYSTEM LINK PROBLEM!

After spending the last few days getting these goddamn doors,
positioned and working on Lockout, and finally getting the Triggering distance for them,
and i have attempted to fix system link as the map wouldn't
get past "Setting up Game" so following some instructions i
Duplicated a Predicted Resource and pointed it to the Door MACH,
System link now works, but on the Guest Xbox only 1 of the 20 doors shows up.
i tried duplicating the predicted resource for the door 19 more
times, so 1 predicted resource per door that is visible on the map,
but that ended up in crashing at the black fadeout from the Game lobby.
so I'm stuck on having just 1 door on the Guest Xbox's unless anyone else has an idea on how to fix the problem?

try hitting the fix system link button in entity.

cloned machine placement chunks do not systemlink...that's your problem.
and if you fix systemlink use entity 1.3 / 1.2.1
if you wanna have 20 placement chunks systemlinking, you have to use a mach placement reflexive from singleplayer, which can be a pain in the back sometimes.

Pressing the Fix system link button in entity causes entity to crash out.

so yeah, i got another verson of entity, and added the other one to the recycle bin (Where it belongs, peice of crap application) and got one of the ones you listed, even tho the one that i just added to the recycle bin was 1.2.1, and hit the fix system link button, after waiting like 10 mins for the app too say done... (that is not a problem with my PC, as i have a Dual Core with 3GB of ram) (peice of crap entity) well yeah, after DONE finnally appeard, i quit the application, when it closed, it crashed on exit, taking Explorer with it, so yeah, i resigned, transsferd the map, and HOLY SHIT NOTHING CHANGED!!!!! still only 1 door on the Guest box.

so... clone the MACH itself 20 times, making the map rediculously sised? just for it too work?......
ugh, that brings us back to the problem of Insolence not opening the map.... why do people insist on the Evil of Dot Net?

Are you blind? He's blatenly said the answer 2 times already. CLONED [mach] placement CHUNKS do not system link.

Lol, munkey, your funneh.... Explain why 1 door works then, and why i just got a second to work.... alltho to doo it the map grows another 4 meg every time i get a door to work..... well more like 8 meg, as every door needs too be put in all over, 1 at a time..... so its a pain in the ass.

They work because they are in the original [mach] palette chunks transfered from another map, the other chunks are "Cloned" chunks which do not system link properly.

so... cloned chunks don't work properly..... because....... the apps cant doo it right yet?

because the reflexive doesn't like cloned chunks.. neither will all of the bloc,scen,mach placement chunks not systemlink. save yourself the time by not discussing this anymore.
placed MACH through cloned netgame equipment chunks will systemlink however.. but considering you use a (working?) door, you'd have to use a singleplayer mach placement reflexive

no idea, i was just doing it as was instructed by other people, so far im up to 3 doors that work in syslink, and a patch in a .rar is up to 16MB..... the map had to have everything added too it, machene pallet and machene placement never existed, nor anything. not mach tag, nothing. its lockout.... and its this door.... soon to be some massive panels and a Pelican and some Raptors for filming, but its kinda hard to film when the Guest boxs's cant see what the are standing on and just fall thru.

um... if it came with the door then Newmombasa.... if it doset come with the door, then entity made it by itself.... it was at the time the Placement and Pallete were made that Insolence was no longer able to load the map.

guess this is sort of my fault. if you start over just use the machine placement from the tutorial level since there are 23 of them.
