Modding questions...

Hello,

I am new to the forum but have been playing and modding Halo ever since it was released...I only use Hex tools, MonoxideC's wonderful HMT 3.5, Phenomena's plugin packs, and occasionally SparkEdit 3.01.

I've never read a tutorial or anything for modding. I mod by trial and error and experience.

I just need brief answers but long enough for a middle-level modder to understand:

1. How to mod dual-wielding in Halo 1 (with maybe HMT. I would prefer a method that does not require batch extracting and rebuilding maps. I know you can combine two models and animate them but how?).
2. And for some good friends that only have Halo Trial, how to rip some full Halo models into Trial (I saw Phenomena do this). I know how to extract and inject, but of course the amount of verticies and indicies have to match up to replace some banshee models with some wraith models.
