HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Well I have downloaded alot of maps from a friends house to try like AI maps and such for CE but then again my problem came before this. Everytime I try to start up a Halo ce map on LAN or Internet, it wont start....it wont start or it will say something like Bitmaps, Sounds, etc made by microsoft press exit or escape. I have even uininstalled and reinstalled and nothing....then I decided to see the prob and so I got into the halo map converter and tried to see what it was and all the maps are on.

"I don't know what this map is, but you sure aren't converting it!"

What is going on?

All I can think of is did you download it from a reliable host such as Fileplanet or www.halomaps.org ? If you even tryed reinstalling it, then I would assume you have a bad copy, or your drivers are messed up. Does your Halo PC run fine?

HaloPC runs perfectly but the problem is Halo CE it used to run without being on the internet and on the internet perfectly but now it alwasy says cannot find server or it says unable to join game so wtf is wrong ? btw I downloaded from like.....Halomaps.org

Well, make sure your maps are in your maps folder.
Also, try reinstalling everything.
Uninstall, delete extra files in haloce directory then reinstall.

Trust me anything you can think of right now i've done I have deleted the games file the Halo ce file uninstalled reinstalled checked maps to make sure they are in the file and nothing works >_> I even downloaded another installation here at the tech school I am at right now and still nothing.
