I believe you just Click and drag the videos from iTunes to your iPod on the side. Same with podcasts and music.

You can copy a video file and do an Edit > Paste in your iTunes library.

why not just add file from "File"? Or just Open the file you want to add with iTunes, and it automatically adds it to your library.(From what I've tested that with, thats with music only)

You might have to change the filetype.

They are mpeg four. Use PSP video 9 to convert them you also need to set it to the correct settings, we're all nerds here I think you can figure it out.
EDIT 1: there is a link at poop sci some where I'll try to find it.

For the PSP system you have to convert the videos, in order to make it compatible for the system. Maybe you might have to do the same for an ipod, but perhaps with a different program.
http://www.videora.com/en-us/Converter/iPod/ Theres a good one.
Oh and if you want to make the file smaller, just compress it. Heres a good site, just download winrar.
www.rarlab.com. And Click the add at the top.

...but if the file compressed into a .rar archive, you can't play it... you'd have to uncompress it (ipod can't do that) before you play it.

Have you tried this yet, Coco? My friend had the same issue with his iPod and that's how he got his videos to work.
You would have to download a converter, check Google for one.

Can't you just add them to your library in iTunes? (though I think you might have to have a new version that is designed to adapt to the video)

I read about this in an issue of Popular Science when I had nothing to do in my study hall (which is in a science classroom). It listed everything, I'm sure a google search or two, will reveal all the materials you need.

A tip for what, Dissapointment?
If you compress everything and put it in your iPod, you basically turn it into a huge 30-60-80 GB Thumb Drive.
It would help storage, but will not help the problem.
