Tool - Bitmap Error

ok, i have the bitmap in tiff form and its 512x512. then when i go into tool.exe and i try to create the bitmap, it says the file does not exist! i made sure i spelled everything right too

bitmap images usually have to always be in .dds texture or for some odd reson it doesnt work

It has to be .tif and and you have to type: tool bitmaps levels\something\bitmaps
It doens't have to be levels, but you type in the directory and make sure you add bitmaps. Make aure you spelled the bitmap and folders right.
