Hey guys , I'm still really new at modding halo 2, and I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to swap a biped using insolence.

Thanks. :)

I would recomend using entity, the most recent version. You can find it at HaloPlugins.
Just drag the bipd you want to be into your map, then go to masterchiefs bipd tag and swap the hlmt for your new bipds hlmt. Then just go to tools and fix slc. Then your done sign and test.

Is there a specific bipd you would like to use?

wow thats the most useless info i've ever seen.
considering the BIPD would bring along all sounds, the map would be dead.
considering the hlmt of the bipd needs to be fixed with shields and stuff, and null the udlg , so it doesnt freeze anymore.
considering you swap the hlmt, systemlink doesnt need to be fixed.
:?
IF you try help please do it proper

For future reference if you double post and no one has replied you can click the Blue box with a white X in it in the top right of your post to delete it yourself.

goto scnr tag in which ever program you prefer and go to the bipd you are currently playing as in dependencies. then swap it out for another bipd.

you think you are pretty smart huh?
there's no such thing as a BIPD dependency in the SCNR tag.. (unless we're speaking BIPD palette, which is only used in singleplayer maps) and simply swap it out for another bipd surely isnt going to help this new user.
there's much more to it.
so could you please stop making smart comments in almost each thread i read, and if you wanna help this lad do it good.

Smacktalker... He is right. And stop putting people down, even if their info wasnt helpful your not doing any better by yelling at them.

Just drag over a bipd from any map and swap the hlmt it really is that simple. Works for me.

No, Shadow LAG was wrong..As he has been in multiple "Help" topics. I don't think you should try to help other people if you do not know what you are talking about. Smactalker was just clarifying it, so that others that come and read through this thread trying to figure out what they did wrong will not be lead in the wrong direction about their issue.
