HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

I have created several maps with Gmax by following a tutorial but it only got far enough to tell me how model the map and it didn't tell me how to turn it into a halo map (.map) file. I am also wondering how to add detail to the modeled map (such as water, vehicles, ground, bitmaps,ect.). PLEASE HELP ME!!!! Its driving me INSANE

Just looking for help.

Does anyone know how to.... I have spent 3 or 4 days working on just one problem and I want to start making maps ASAP. I just got into modeling and I know it takes alot of time but this is getting really rediculous. All help really appreciated!!
