Bitmap problem PC PC PC

I recently downloaded Gimpshop, and i made the sniper so it's hud has 8 shots instead of 4. For some reason, when i opened HMT and injected the new bitmap, it said that the bitmap was smaller than before or something, still let me use it, but when i went ingame, all the decals were small black squares:

can anyone help me out here? and also, you will notice that all the bullets are "full". it wont darken them up whhen you fire. can anyone help here too? it doesnt darken them for ANY gun with that bitmap in.

EDIT: i found that after 4 shots it DOES darken ALL of them. How would i make it so they darken individually like normal? and also how would i get the red blinkingness to be individually on each one too?

i think the problem with the bullets not darkening is that the HUD doesnt recognize that there are 8 shots and it acts normal as if there were 4, try looking in the tags in HMT for stuff about the ammo counter or clip size and stuff. I know you can mess with the AR ammo but i dont know about other guns....
....or maybe im completely wrong

yea i DID make it shoot 8 bullets, but that didnt do anything. I think it might have something to do with the ammo_alpha bitmap. The one i edited is the ammo_meter. but i mainly need help with fixing the decals >_>
edit: the red blinking has the same normal shape so thats what i think the alpha bitmap is.

nvm what and whats my bitmaps.map? i have put my backup bitmaps.map in numerous times and then reinject the bitmap but it stil does the strange thing with the decal.
