entity issue(bsp viewer)

ok ive looked on these forums and most of the results say 1.2.1 doesnt work and u need to use 1.1.6 well i used 1.2.1 1.2.0 1.1.7 and 1.1.6 but the bsp viewer didnt work in any of them for the 1.2's and 1.1.6 it was an eror in application that caused me to close it and 1.1.7 said the specified module could not be found (exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E) no idea what that means but i cant get bsp viewer to work no matter what and what i do is that i go to the sbsp tag and click scenarios/multi/dune/dune and i go to the blue cross and then bsp viewer but i get an error after like 10 seconds.....anyone know why? and idk if its my graphics card or not i got like intel extreme graphics 2 or something like that

standard basic problems.... how many threads need to be made about this same problem over and over again... -_-'
anyway try updating your graphic card with new drivers... if it doesnt work you're PC doesnt meet the requirments so get a new PC then...
or try Entity Alpha, or Entity 1.1.5
1.1.5. still works the best for me.

You need to get directx version 9....

i have the latest directx and im updating drivers now but i also had an issue with my service pack 2 a little while ago where i had a corruption issue with a windows file on my computer so i had to put in the windows xp disc and i repaired my sp2 but i was repairing it with an sp1 could this cause problems by any chance? its made it hard to play some games and certain windows programs dont work
