text is not showing

when i play halo, the text doesnt show. i cant see who i killed or what people r saying. can someone help me?

You might not have the font, maybe? its probally arial unicode, do a google search for a download and just goto control panel> fonts then drag it into that folder to install it.

this problem's been mentioned here before, and i think there's a thread somewhere here to fix it. search around some.
