Need MAJOR HELP with modding original halo 2 maps

I was able to mod the downloaded maps (thanks to the help of the site 
) but I cannot figgure out how to mod the old maps ( lockout, zanzibar, etc.) I tried to copy halo 2 onto my modded xbox but it came up with an error, I am guessing that is how you do it, but can anyone walk me through this, thank you so much.
