WHAT? WHY NOT?

Ok i made this account right. When i come over to the forums every day i sign in and do some stuff. Today i went to the files forum. I tried to sign in but it wont work!! I get this message.
You have specified an incorrect or inactitive user name or an invalid password.
The weird thing is i know for a fact that my account is active becuase im on the forum right now and that the name and password is right. Why cant i get on. NO im not banned from there, ive never even logged in on the files forum!
PS if i get it working how do i post a map i made?

files.halomods.com and halomods.com/forums use two different user databases. you'll have to register an account on files.halomods.com, whether you have an account on halomods.com/forums or not.

It's not that hard to use a merged database. It would sure relieve a lot of troubles.

I like the Forums just how they are, it's much easier, It's not hard to just make another account.
Plus if they were to combine the Admins would have lots, and lots of work to do. This is the better side of HaloMods.

How do you know? Have you run combined databases?
Although it requires a more complicated setup, in the end it's always better.
I do hope your not suggesting that the admins are really stupid and incabable of accomplising such tasks.

Alot of members typically only sign up for one of the forums and stay there. If there were combined DBs there would be a ton of users that have never posted (adding onto all the other accounts with no posts >_>)
Also, alot of the admins are very busy. Grenadiac, the uber admin =P, has a life. Job, family, and all. Something like that might be a little too time consuming for such a minor inconvenience.
