i was trying to play halo on a gamespy servers at GameSpy.com and it said that my client was older than the server.....whats up with that?

Navigate to your Halo root directory (probably C:/Program Files/Microsoft Games/Halo) and execute the file with the legendary symbol icon that says 'haloupdate'

i updated it and im up to date.... any other ideas?

If you know the Registry you can look for the version number which should be 1.07
