HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

When I play online game on my comp, or do kai or xbc with it going through my computer, I get these lag spikes, I looked at my network once while I was having a lag spike and the network indictcator thing on the taskbar just wasn't transfering any data. These happen every minute or two. I've tried disabling my firewall to see if that would help but have had no luck. I use a Linksys wireless G USB adapter for internet and a intergrated ethernet port going to the xbox. Does any one have any suggestions or fixes to the lag?

are there any other computers using the network, does your computer recieve priority over others, and what sort and speed of internet do you have?

yea, How do you set priority, cable I get like 1.5 MBps, if I don't got through my computer than it works fine and I get host alot of times (on live)
