HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

I have been trying to make my spartan in Halo PC be an Elite instead. First i thoughti could just replace all the skins from the spartan with the elite skins.. didnt work.. the elite has a seperate dds. file for each of his limbs, but the spartan has like one......
Then i just replaed the spartan bipeds w/ the elite ones, and that worked.... except i am limited to an elites ambiliteis in the story.... i cant change weps, cant see my health, cant use human vechiles.......
Now i though i could replace the models, but the spartan andelites are set up different agian...... any help??

You got the biped swap right. Now change the seat names so he can use them. Elites can't use most vehicles. Go to the vehi tag and pull down seat and choose 0. (or 1 or 2 for the Warthog or 1-4 for the Scorpion) and rename the seat names. Elites can use G-driver B-driver and GT-gunner. G-driver will make him look like he is sitting in the ghost so that will work best for the warthog's seat 0 and 1 (Passenger and Driver) and all scorpion seats. B-driver is the banshee and that only is good in the Pelican. GT-gunner is the Gun Turret. That looks good in the warthog's seat 2 (gunner) and the Wraith.

what about the health bar? and using human weps....? and hes too tall to walk down certain hallways, but i can fix that....

no one know???

There has been mods where they have almost perfected changing Humans and spartans into elites and grunts. It is very hard though.
