Can't load webpage?

Post by slayer410 »

For some reason I can't load up haloplugins.com any more no matter what I do...
1. I am not banned
2. I can load up any webpage execpt for this one
3. It used to work before the site went down
4. I tried to load it in both Opera and IE and it still didn't work
5. No matter what settings I change in Opera it still won't work

Any suggestions?

Did you consider that the site might be down? I can't either, and trep was having problems as well. I assume it is just down. Be patient.

Yes, it was down, but now it is up (at least for others).
That's why I posted my question here... why could some get on and others can't? :?

i think a spyware or a virus is blocking those pages.
I had it to but it was worser by me every time i tried to load a page IE closes (over now). so download ewido anti-malware.it's a trial but a good trial.

Because...
1) It wouldn't be affecting my computer, as well as a bunch of other people.
2) The site just went down within the last two days.
3) It's already been stated that it's a problem with the web hosting.
4) What do you plan to say when it get's fixed?

It is not a virus, nor spyware. It is a problem with the host.

Also, don't double post.

I went to it and it worked just fine....unless it was another site similar....let me check...yeah if you're talking about this it works just fine.....

http://haloplugins.com/ anyway um.....your firewall could have blocked it, or if you are only like 13 or something your parents may not like it and blocked it. Either that you are banned and or....well either that someone is playing a cruel joke on you...

Nice use of the word that doesn't exist....worser?....sorry bad spelling and bad grammer annoy me, next time please say, Much Worse. And yes Spyware or a Virus can block pages and if it was it is either a homepage hijacker(not likely) or a trojan, I had to deal with a Trojan on my friends computer a while back and it slowly but surely blocked all web pages and trust me this sounds like a Trojan, and if so it might have a backup so it may not go away, so try the trick for virus removale on halomods.com called "Why Won't That Virus Go Away?" and if that will not work....well you're screwed and you WILL have to format your hard drive and reload XP... sorry....and if this is not the case, then download Mozille FireFox, trust me after downloading that browser, you will thank god....or whatever.

You all will wait, there won't be a release date for the mod I will surprise you all.

Dude, you could just make a partition and install XP on it.
Less hassle, and less time.

However, with that being said, it's recomended that you format your HDD every 6 months.
How many people actually DO do that is.. probably not.. very.. much.
(I do mine every two months. :D )

=XHK=ZeroUltimate-Warrior:

Ok, I will check my grammer next time sorry. And it also could be a trojan.

Maybe the site works again when you clean you cookies history and temperorly internet files(I don't know if I spelled that good). that also works on the forums of this site.
